Championship Play-off Contenders - Watford
It looked as if the Hornets would reclaim their Premiership place at the first time of asking early on in the campaign, as they opened up a commanding lead at the top of the table. They were quickly reeled in by the chasing pack though and just one win in their final 14 games very nearly cost them their play-off place. With Aidy Boothroyd and Watford having had recent experience of navigating the Championship play-offs to reach the promised land of Premiership football, they will be considered favourites on that basis alone by some for a repeat performance this time. Recent form suggests otherwise though and the suspension of top-scorer Darius Henderson for the 1st leg with Hull City is a further blow.
